Did someone tell you that all cables are the same? Most of the problems people have with their HDTV is cable related.
TVs today are way more advanced than they were even 2 years ago...even cheap ones.

I'm sure Monster will defend their product. Independent reports and my years in the industry say that there is no need for the vast majority of consumers to spend big bucks on a HDMI cable. The vast majority of consumers will be using a one or two meter cable to connect devices that are right next to each other.
