my friend who is filipina has recently been dating only caucasian men and I may know the reason: she tells me constantly how good-looking asian/white hybrids are. and she said how her mother tells her to marry a white boy so she could have cute grandkids. i just thought this was terrible. it seems as though she's saying her own kids, who are full filipino, aren't attractive because they have no white blood. i think this kind of talk can make her kids insecure of their ethnicity. i cringe every time my friend brings up the whole ';cute babies'; thing. what can i say to my friend to make her shut up and be respectful of our mostly asian group?Is this bad advice from a mother?
just tell her what's on your mind..tell her that by doing so, she doesnt respect herself bcoz she's an asian too...Is this bad advice from a mother?
no she just has great taste!!!
Its not horrible, It could of been better worded or not said at all but its just a grand mothers talk
